As an IT Enterprise Applications Engineer, you'll help GitLab run critical business processes that support how the company sells, buys, accounts, and scales. You'll focus on NetSuite and Zuora Revenue, building and supporting the systems, configurations, workflows, and code that keep processes like Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report efficient, compliant, and reliable. In this role, you'll join the Enterprise Applications G&A team and report to the Senior Manager, G&A Systems, partnering closely with business stakeholders to turn operational needs into maintainable technical solutions.

This is a strong fit if you want ownership across both day-to-day administration and longer-term improvements. You will work independently on medium-complexity problems, support SOX-compliant change management, contribute to system roadmap decisions, and help the team deliver scalable application support in a fully remote environment.

What you’ll do

Administer and configure NetSuite and Zuora Revenue to support GitLab business processes and compliant system operations.

Translate business needs into technical requirements, workflows, customizations, and application changes that improve process efficiency.

Partner with Finance, business systems peers, and other stakeholders to ensure applications are functioning as designed and meeting operational needs.

Support SOX-compliant change management, including documentation, governance, and adherence to data, security, and legal guidelines.

Manage inbound integrations and data flows between enterprise systems, including troubleshooting issues across the ERP and revenue systems landscape.

Contribute code, customizations, and integrations in development environments using GitLab SDLC practices and internal engineering standards.

Conduct code reviews and support maintainable, well-documented technical delivery aligned with team guidelines.

Run small projects and contribute to team planning for new features, process improvements, and system roadmap decisions.

What you’ll bring

Experience administering enterprise applications in a SaaS environment, with hands-on ownership of configuration, support, and operational reliability.

Working knowledge of NetSuite, including data objects, workflows, custom fields, custom forms, and the broader integration landscape.

Working knowledge of Zuora Revenue, including revenue rules, POB templates, SSP allocations, accounting treatments, and support for revenue close and reconciliation activities.

Ability to troubleshoot system issues, data exceptions, and upstream or downstream integration problems across business applications.

Understanding of finance and accounting processes, especially Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and related enterprise workflows.

Familiarity with SOX controls and experience supporting compliant change management and audit walkthroughs.

Ability to use GitLab and apply clear documentation, code review, and software development lifecycle practices in technical work.

Strong collaboration, prioritization, and self-management skills, with openness to candidates who bring transferable experience from related systems or business application environments.

About the team

The Enterprise Applications team owns many of GitLab’s core internal business systems, including platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Navan, and Zip, and supports the processes that keep the business operating at scale. The team works asynchronously across a distributed environment to introduce new capabilities, maintain production stability, and uphold compliance requirements across critical applications. This work sits at the center of an important opportunity: improving how business systems connect, automate, and support reliable operations as GitLab grows.

How GitLab Supports Full-Time Employees
